ABIGAIL NOT IMPRESSED

Hospital visit has come around again and we have hit the 17 week mark. I trundled off to the hospital again but this time i had abi with me as i wasn't in work. She quite enjoyed the journey there and the snow. Was very well behaved in the clinic but wasn't all impressed when the midwife checked mummy. But best of all was when she listened for the heartbeat and i got to here the baby's heartbeat for the first time. Its an amazing sound one which reminds you of the miracle of life and the wonder of motherhood one you do not tire of hearing only thing was as soon as they found spud he/she moved away. But abi seemed less than impressed by the whole experience.

Hospital visit

My visit to the hospital soon came round again and was very uneventful apart from the usual waiting arround and waiting and waiting. I saw the midwife and apart from checking how i am and doing my blood pressure nothing happened then more waiting to see the diabetic team my habc1 is still 6.5 so that me for another 2 weeks.

14 Weeks Today

well i now firmly don't fit in my uniform any more and many of my other clothes are the same with Abigail i remember waiting for a bump but this time its just appeared and i feel as big as i did at 5 months last time so i have rescued the maternity clothes. I spent Saturday looking for my polo shirt as my tunic no longer fastens but couldn't find it but also couldn't remember if i had lent it to anyone and if they had returned it so ended up just wearing a blouse over my skirt and freezing as it was cold in the church but the mystery was sold when i got given my polo shirt back i had lent it. So at least now i can wear that with maternity trousers and be comfortable. I cant believe were already in the second trimester it is really going quickly this time.
